Last year, a judge from London governed The United Kingdom government had the right to strip Harry, the youngest son of King Carlos IIIof an automatic safety detail during visits to Britain.
When reading a summary of the sentence that dismissed Harry’s appeal, the judge said on Friday that the arguments presented by his lawyer were “powerful and moving”, and that it was, “of course that the Duke of Sussex felt badly treated by the system.”
“I concluded, after having studied the details of the extensive documentation, I could not say that the Duke’s Complaint of Complaint was translated into a legal argument for the challenge to Ravec’s decision,” he continued. “The Duke was indeed entering and leaving the protection cohort provided by Ravec. Outside the United Kingdom, he was out of the cohort, but when he was in the United Kingdom, his security would be considered appropriate.”
He added: “It was impossible to say that this reasoning was illogical or inappropriate, in fact it seemed sensible.”
Harry has not yet commented on the ruling.
In their appeal of the ruling, Harry’s lawyers argued at the April Court hearings that the 40-year-old faces security risks, including Al-Qaeda, who, according to them, have asked Harry’s murder.
Harry, the fifth in the row of the British throne, has previously said that his security risk is so high in the United Kingdom that he feels reluctant to take his family to his country of origin.
To finish comments in the Court last month, Harry’s lawyer, Shaheed Fatima KC, told the judge that Harry’s life is at stake. “
“There is a person sitting behind me whose security, whose security and whose life is at stake,” said Fatima. “There is a person sitting behind me who is told that he is obtaining a special process to measure when he knows and has experienced a process that is manifestly inferior in all aspects.”
Harry traveled from California to the United Kingdom to attend the hearings last month, arriving at the Court on his own, without his wife Meghan or any member of the royal family.
After moving away from their real senior roles, Harry and Meghan moved to California, where they now live with their Two childrenArchie and Lilibet.
It is not known that the four -year -old traveled To the United Kingdom together since 2022, when they attended the celebrations of the Platinum Jubilee for Harry’s grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Since they moved to California, the Sussexes have been based on a private financed security team.
